Yeah, but I stil have to type a response on the keyboard, instead of just speaking to the computer.
Keyboard.....how quaint.

i assume it was an international convention.
i remember our house was full of relatives from ok including a tent or two in the yard.
anyone remember the year?.
I can barely remember the International assembly at Yankee Stadium in 1969. I do remember the International assembly at Yankee Stadium in 1973. What a thrill it was to hear Brother Knorr speak.
as most of you know we here florida had a devestating strom in punta gorda.
there is a district ass-embly in kissimee this weekend.
the wtbs insist that the show must go on!
Oh please!!! After all, there are many fine brothers overseas who have to endure many dangers to attend an assembly, even a simple meeting at a kingdom hall. They have to cross crocodile infested rivers, walk 20 miles uphill (both ways), through gangs with clubs, knives, and guns out on patrol just looking for JW's, and through monsoons, fires, pestilence, and locusts. Surely, those brothers know of the importance of regularly attending meetings and assemblies. What's a little hurricane?
/sarcasm off.
dear friends.
i've posted earlier this year that my mom suffered a stroke.
i just got the news that she passed away this evening.
Dear Friends:
Thank you so much for your expressions of sympathy. It really means a lot to me.
I'm really at a loss for words right now. Even though she was sick these past 8 months, it still kind of hit me by surprise when I got the phone call from my brother last night.
Again, thanks for your responses. I love each and every one of you.

Dear Friends.
I've posted earlier this year that my Mom suffered a stroke. I just got the news that she passed away this evening. They found her unresponsive in her wheelchair and rushed her to the hospital where she was basically DOA.
I really don't know what else to say at this point. It's really just sinking in right now. I just can't believe she's gone.....

Sorry.
i thought about this topic last night for the board when watching one of my favorite movies.. 1. the man from snowy river- the part when they are going after the expensive colt and they get to the edge of the cliff and all the other riders stop and "jim" keeps going and leaps down the cliff after the wild horses.
i absolutely love that part of the movie...everytime its on i have to watch it, if not just to see this part only.. 2. love and basketball- when she tells him she will play for his heart...awwww first time i started crying.
and then the music they had playing in the background made it even worse.
Capt. Spaulding: [to Mrs. Rittenhouse and Grace Carpenter] Let's get married.
Mrs. Whitehead: All of us?
Capt. Spaulding: All of us.
Mrs.Whitehead: Why, that's bigamy.
Capt.Spaulding: Yes, and it's big of me too.
Hypocrites???? In the Congregation???
No. Not in my old congregation. They were all too busy serving Jehovah!!!
Of course there were hypocrites in the congregation. A lot. But, no more than your average church.
